Traditionally, this show demonstrates the potential of the domestic military-industrial complex and high level of our leading design and engineering bureaus.
I am sure the Show will arouse interest among the specialists and will give an impulse to the military and technical cooperation and conclusion of the mutually beneficial contracts and implementation of promising international projects.

Dear friends!

I'm glad to welcome the participants and guests of the IVth International Maritime Defence Show. St.Petersburg is considered to be a maritime capital of Russia, the city of a naval glory and maritime traditions. The Russian key shipbuilding enterprises are focused in the north capital. For this reason our city is a perfect ground for such important events. 

St.Petersburg maritime defence show is reasonably considered to be one of the leading world forums in its direction. Its full program gives a unique possibility to discuss the trends in the current shipbuilding, to analyze the prospects in naval engineering market development.

The guests of the show will be able not only to see a large exhibition exposition demonstrating the state-of-the-art samples of armament and defense technology but also visit the ships and boats located along the quays of an exhibition complex.

The honoured guests - foreign ships - will be happy to invite all the visitors on board. The unique air show performed by aerobatic teams "Strizhi" and "Russkie Vityazi" will be again one of the most entertaining and spectacular events being held during the show.

On behalf of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation I would like to congratulate you on the beginning of the International Maritime Defence Show. St. Petersburg Maritime Defence Show is a real possibility to see a holistic situation in the world market of defence shipbuilding and armament production and to explore the key vectors of the technological development in these sectors.
This year the exposition of the exhibition and the subjects of the business events of the International Maritime Defence Show will be based on the advanced samples of the naval engineering and naval armament. The participants and guests of the Show will be able to visit the leading enterprises of the military industrial complex of Russia and to see the naval arms systems used in the combat ships in force.
In the world market of high technologies wins the one who concentrates the efforts on the development of the breakthrough scientific and technological competences and supports and develops the cooperation ties. This approach becomes up-to-date at the time of the world recession. It requires cooperation based on the specific projects.
